Helps develop customer relationships, increase sales through direct and consistent customer communication (via phone, fax, mail and/or electronically) and promotes the company’s products and services effectively.

Director of Administration and Graphic Communications

Essential Functions

·         Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. Executes cold calls, mailings (including samples, catalogs and other information) and follows up with prospective and existing customers to maintain a positive work relationship. Manages assigned accounts independently and maintains the contact management database.

·         Accurately produces quotes and sample packets. Forwards custom quotes to the Estimators and works with them to provide customer specifications.

·         Strives to meet and exceed sales quotas. Provides written and verbal reports and updates on all outside sales calls, outcomes, mileage, dates and times.

·         Handles all customer requests accurately and efficiently ensuring all customers receive the appropriate products at the appropriate time. Investigates and assists in the resolution of customer problems as necessary.

·         Provides all levels of customer service, before and after the order cycle, by acting as the company liaison between the customer and all other departments. Assists the Production Manager, Production Co-Manager and Order Processing Coordinator as needed.

·         Works closely with Sales Team Leader and the management team to develop new sales strategies, product recommendations and pricing plans.

·         Travels when required.

·         Other duties as assigned.*

Minimum Requirements

·         Prefer 1 year experience in a customer service/sales role, preferably in the graphic arts or printing/packaging industry

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Telemarketing experience helpful

·         Needs to be computer proficient

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Flexibility in order to adjust to scheduling needs
